Cupuaçu butter is obtained from the seeds of Theobroma Grandiflorum found in the Amazon Basin. Traditionally it has been used as a valuable source of nutrition. Cupuacu fruit has phytonutrient polyphenols (theograndins). Cupuacu is also heavy with vitamins B1, B2, B3 (Niacin), fatty and amino acids, and at least nine antioxidants (including Vitamins A and C). Cupuaçu butter is a great moisturizer. It has high water absorption capacity, approximately 240% superior to the Lanolin. This high water absorption power can be attributed to the bridges of hydrogen formed between water molecules and phytosterols. This property makes the product capable to help in the emulsion stability. Cupuaçu butter (botanical source) can replace Lanoline (animal resource) in terms of water absorption, being an excellent emollient providing a pleasant touch and softness to the skin. It facilitates the natural humidity and elasticity and it is a long lasting moisturizer for dry skins.
High in omega 3,6, and 9, Walnut oil is a strong anti-inflammatory so is good for problem skin. Walnut oil also contains vitamins B, B1, B2, E and niacin; all of which are good for treating skin
Kokum Butter helps add consistency to this light but highly occlusive cream. It grows in India and is traditionally used to treat skin ailments such as dry, chapped skin and burns. The fruits are soaked in sugar syrup to make Amrutkokum which is drunk to relieve sunstroke.
